Nothing is more annoying than when the edge smears at the last moment during preparation or sticks to the mould when removing it. Cake edge foil is a simple but excellent tool for preventing these problems.

Top-quality cake edge foil
When creating round cakes or desserts, especially those containing cream or mousse, a clean and attractive edge is essential for a perfect result. Nothing should smudge, run into each other or even stick to the tin, as this would ruin the appearance of the finished product. With acetate foil – also known as cake edge foil – simply line the edge of your mould with the transparent plastic foil before filling it with the mixture and a flawless result is guaranteed. As the foil is food-safe and sold by the metre, you can cut the right length to size with scissors as required. If your cakes and desserts are to be displayed in a display case or on a buffet for some time after preparation, leave the cake edge foil in place to protect them from drying out and only remove it just before serving.
